This was as much fun to make as it is to hear. Over the course of five days in mid-July, dozens of musicians wandered in and out of Second Act Studio in Irvington, NY to record the tracks.

Some artists came with a song they wanted to perform. Others helped make up arrangements on the spot – grabbing the musicians who were there at the time. Some overdubs were added after the fact, but the majority of what you hear came from those original sessions. In every case, you can hear the joy in the tracks.

A collection incorporating every color in the rock palette: from totally modern alt rock, to classic rock stomps, to quiet singer/songwriter introspection. All the artists hail from the artistically-rich Hudson Rivertowns, just north of NYC, but the music is universal. If you want to hear a true cross-section of Rock of the art, check this out.
